Biography of Linda Marrakchi Kacem:

Linda Marrakchi-Kacem is assistant professor in “Signal and image processing” at the National School of Engineers of Tunis and researcher at L3S.

She is passionate about research around medical imaging and in particular brain imaging, she carried out her post-doctoral research at the Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle Epinière (research center dedicated to the brain and spinal cord in heart of the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital in Paris) from 2011 to 2014 and did her doctoral research from 2007 to 2011 at the Neurospin center, CEA, Saclay which is dedicated to the study of the brain.

In 2011, she obtained her doctoral degree from Paris Sud University, her engineering degree in 2007 from Télécom Sud Paris and her master’s degree in medical imaging in 2007 from Paris Sud University. She is currently working on projects using Artificial Intelligence to study brain pathologies.
